Official Forums MAY NOT Policies

You MAY NOT :

. Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any topic, name, material or information that incites discrimination, hate or violence toward one person or a group because of their belonging to a race, a gender, a religion, a sexual orientation, a nation, or that insults the victims of crimes against humanity by contesting the existence of those crimes.
. Defame, abuse, stalk, threaten, violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others, and post materials that can result in attacks or insults on other members such as flame war, name-calling.
. Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, vulgar, sexually explicit, profane, defamatory, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information.
. Create a false identity for the purpose of misleading others
. Post files that contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancel bots, corrupted files or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another's computer or property of another. Applies to posting exploits, cheats, hacks, or links to websites or domains that contain such material. To report us one of these, please use the PM system.
. Post material that is off-topic for the forum such as religion, politics, looking for in-real-life partners.

Additionally, you MAY NOT:

. Spam the forums with multiple identical threads to draw attention to your question, issue, comment.
. Spam threads with link to a particular topic to draw attention to a specific thread.
. Reserve a spot for further comment in a thread as well as "Bump" or "/sign" and necro-posts. Necro-posting is posting a reply in a thread older than two months.
. Post with the intent of creating trouble and unrest and disruption. This is Trolling and is not tolerable.
. Address a thread directly to another player, especially to start attacking this player or group of players.
. Use the official forums as a medium to advertise for any corporation, business, company, society, whatever public organization. That includes as well products, goods and whatever material.
. Use the SOL in connection with surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, junk e-mail, scamming or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise).
. Defame, abuse, stalk, threaten any of the Shadow of Legend Developers, Official Staff. This will result in immediate sanction.

All of these rules apply to the forums as well as to the private message system and our official IRC server and emails.
Please note that these rules also apply for communication to any SOL NV employees.

The SOL Community Relations Team will MOST LIKELY NOT Respond to:

. Threads addressed to "Devs."
. Private messages asking gameplay questions.
. Private messages asking Beta-related questions.
. Private Messages asking for a response to a particular thread.

In addition, answering Private Messages, emails, private queries on IRC, is at the discretion of the SOL Community Relations Team member you've been writing to.

We might take actions due to postings, PM, IRC chat in violation of these rules. Panel of possible actions is as follows and is not restricted to one:

. Editing of the post or signature.
. Deletion of the post/thread.
. Closing of the thread.
. Limited/restricted Posting privileges on forums.
. A Warning. Player(s) that receive(s) several warnings for message board misconduct will have its (their) account banned. This can be extended to Shadow of Legend game account(s) as well.
. Suspension. The duration of the suspension is at the discretion of the community team. Any other warnings after a suspension will result in banishment.
. Banishment. Ends up in the user's forum posting privileges being revoked. Access to SOL may be removed and/or game account closed at the discretion of the SOL Community Relations Team.
. Legal Action.

Individuals who violate the rules of the forums, IRC, may or may not receive any warning before an action is taken. The action taken and the duration of the action, will be decided at the discretion of the SOL Community Relations Team. There is absolutely no difference between in-game and on SOL Official Forums misconducts.

Furthermore, every forum member should be aware of the other rules or terms made by SOL and SmartCell Technology,LLC.

Failing in complying with these rules or terms will result in the enforcement on the Actions mentioned above.
